Another great day in Tokyo. It is great to experience the food and culture of this city. There is very little horn honking as people are very respectful here. (New York should take note). Everyone walking around seems to be younger people. Not sure where the older folks are. Very few sirens. I find that this city is very quiet. Not sure how they get that done with around 30,000,000 plus people in the metro.
Uber cars are very high end and comfortable (limo like) in the back seat. The subway is incredible but not without its challenges (see map below). The overall infrastructure of the city goes on forever as you will see by the pictures I took out of the top of the Tokyo Federal building.
Had a beautiful walk through an expansive park.
It was interesting to ride in their subway. It is the cleanest one I have ever been in. Take note of all the young people staring at their phones. They just keep to themselves and will talk but you must talk to them first. Many don’t know much English so it is sometimes hard to communicate. (Notice the shine on the floor). You will see no graffiti anywhere.
I have always wanted to see the view out of the Park Hyatt where the film Lost in Translation was filmed. Had a drink there and soaked in the atmosphere which was great with stunning views of the city.
I will end today with a couple beautiful pictures out of my hotel window. Sorry I am bit picture happy today but can’t resit. I have been going to bed at around 11:00 PM and wide awake by 3:30 AM. Still trying to adjust to the different time zone which I find one of the most difficult things to do traveling here.
