We had a 25 minute boat shuttle back to Bora Bora airport and had a great 50 minute flight back to Tahiti. We then boarded a United 787 for a 7.5 hour flight to San Francisco. Then caught a Southwest flight to LAX. Lastly, boarded a SW flight to KC. (flight time of 2 hours and 35 minutes).
Throughout our trip we had a total of 16 flights with the following airlines who all did a superb job of getting us to our destinations safely:
Southwest, Fiji, Qantas,Jet Star, Air NewZealand, Air Tahiti and United.
In addition, we had 2 ferry rides, 12 boat shuttles/tours, 4 bus rides and 1 Uber.
The world transit system is truly incredible and we were very fortunate to utilize it to the max.
