DAY TWO IN BORA BORA

While at the gym this morning I met a gentlemen from Israel who has traveled the world. He is involved in a security company whereby they consult with folks that own planes and yachts.

We had a great conversation about our countries. He had lived in Rockville, Maryland for two years and got to experience the United States. He loves the way our States are governed and the fact you can get in a car and travel throughout the US without paperwork, Visas and etc. He loved everything about the US – the things we all take for granted. He said Israel is about the size of one of our counties.

With a strong emotion (by the look in his eyes) he told me that he looks up to our country and is very proud to have the US as a strong ally. It was a touching moment – a proud moment. It is amazing the way our country is perceived around the world as being the model that many want to follow.

I invited him to Kansas City to attend a Chiefs game and eat some world famous barbecue. I actually think one day he will visit.

He shared a story about visiting the Four Seasons in Tanzania where at breakfast you would see an elephant walk by. He also has been to the Maldives and said that Bora Bora is even better. He was defiantly a world traveler.

We had a very relaxing day today catching a lot of sun (which was nice). Did a lot of walking around enjoying the views of the property.

In the evening we had a bit of local entertainment whereby Jane got involved after a few Titos.

We ended the evening with a few after dark pictures.

We will start our trek home tomorrow with a flight from Bora Bora back to Tahiti and then on to San Francisco to LA to KC.
