I started my day at the War Remnants Museum. Lots of pictures of the war as well as US military aircraft, guns and etc. One amazing fact was that the US had 1,417 D.7 bulldozers each weighing 40 tons in Vietnam. It is an amazing feat just to get them all shipped into Vietnam. The US army also had 370 M48 tanks each weighing 47.2 tons.
I also came across a movie theater so I got some popcorn and had a nice visit with a young Vietnam girl who had a fiance in Ames, Iowa who works at the airport. She also had a friend who lives in Washington, Iowa. (It really is a small world).

You just never know what you are going to see on the back of a motorbike in Vietnam. One day I seen a guy hauling a mattress on the back. I have seen a cage full of chickens as well as full feed sacks. Even seen a 250lbs fat hog in a cage going down the road.
Even in a Country where they grow coffee & tea you see several Starbucks and they are always full of people. Many folks in Vietnam only make $10.00 per day. I don’t see how some of them live.

Another little bit of information. In Vietnam the males urinate wherever it is handy. You will see them stopped along the road and even in town behind a tree. But today I seen a guy going number two along a busy road in broad daylight! (Sorry – no picture). I think they need to install some porta-potties!
I walked buy this very cool restaurant today so decided to have dinner there. It was great experience except there were 1,000 of motorbikes going buy and I about got sick from all the fumes.

Tomorrow I pack up and catch a flight to Seoul Korea where I will stay for a day and a half and then catch a flight back to the US.
