We left our hotel in Nha Trang and headed south. It was nice to get back on the bike and enjoy the warm breeze while looking at mountains on one side and the beach on the other.
We only had 65 miles today so we arrived at our resort early. Our resort is called the TTC Resort in Phan Rang. We will overnight here two nights. There are several Russians staying here who I have yet to meet. I am not sure they speak any English which might make it a challenge. Another very nice beach with not many people.

While in route we passed a huge development area which included a new Radison and many other new hotels being built. With an airport in Nha Trang, it appears this area will become the next tourist hotspot.
While in another conversation with my guide – he tells me in order to buy a car in Vietnam – the tax cost as much as the car. So a Toyota Camry may cost around $60,000. The tax is related to engine size. For a 570 Lexus the cost is around $400,000. Only the very rich can afford cars. Perhaps this is why you don’t see many.
I spent time on the beach and then dinner. A very relaxing day.
